An art quilt celebrating the first bloom of the magnolias in my neighborhood.

In this art quilt the delicate blossoms of magnolias are captured and digitally superimposed on an image of art paper background .  The deep to medium pink of the blossoms waft above the background quilted in a restful Asian water design.

Multi – a multi colored marbled paper

Green – flecked rice paper

Digitally printed on prepared for printing cotton.

8″x10″

Mounted on black painted stretched canvas and ready to hang.
