An art quilt with views from my home.

In this art quilt, I’ve created  five layered windows, each bordered with a different shade of silk.  The graceful ornamental grass is repeated in the background behind the windows.

This work is digital art from photos I took from my home.  They were then digitally manipulated and printed onto silk and cotton fabric and quilted.   My window series is about interior and exterior life.   Perhaps this piece takes the conversation to another level of perspective and viewpoints.  The same view looks different through various lenses.
