Let this impressionist style landscape quilt lure you into the autumn view of maples on water.
The colors of this hand dyed fabric allow one to imagine gazing into the water of a gently flowing stream. Maple branches hover over the water with their copper, red and yellow leaves glinting in the sun. Ferns peek out from behind rocks which rise above the surface of the water. Several leaves have fallen to the water surface and ripples can be seen moving from their point of impact.
The primary photo of this quilt was taken on my design wall under spotlights so you could see the quilting stitches. The secondary photos were all taken outside in the morning shade.
This quilt measures 42″ x71″.
